If you’re planning on dressing up for Halloween and need some inspo, look no further!
With amazing new movies & TV shows that have come out such as Elvis, Maverick and stranger things, along with classics such as Michael Myers Halloween & Beetlejuice, the choice is huge when looking for a costume for Halloween. We’ve compiled a list of the hottest top male Halloween trends and we think you’re going to love them!
1. Elvis Fancy Dress
It was during the 1970’s that Elvis started wearing the classic and recognisable jumpsuit he’s remembered for. He wore many different colours and styles, from white to gold to red and black. All were flared, some were caped and most were shiny with plenty of sparkly embellishments! Between the suit, the quiffed hair & large glasses we believe this is one perfect costume!
2. Top-Gun’s Maverick Dress Up
Maverick came back with a bang last year on the big screen when Tom Cruise showed us he still has it! We wrote all about it here in our Top Gun blog, check it out!
So if you see yourself as the ultra cool Maverick or one of his other fighter pilot students we are here to help.
Check out these gorgeous Top Gun licensed bomber jackets! I don’t know about you but I would wear that all year round! Team it up with the Top Gun kit that contains a licensed hat and glasses or what about the official Top Gun Helmet. You’ll be a fighter pilot in no time.
3. Halloween Michael Myers Mask and Costume
Terrifying the life out of us all since 1978 and still one of the most popular mens costumes around. Michael spends his time slowly chasing after people and slashing them to death. Once you dress up as him you’ll have folks legging it away from you! But the one thing that makes this costume so great is not only is it super scary, it’s also super comfortable and no one will know who you are!

4. Beetlejuice Costume
This movie classic made in 1988 by Tim Burton is no doubt one of our favourite and much loved Halloween movies around. You will have so much fun playing this lovable rogue on a night out and we’ve got just the costume for it. Beetlejuice’s extremely recognisable look starts with a striped suit just like this one. We then would team it with a wig like this one or if you are not the wig wearing type you could always go for some green hair colour spray and finally we would recommend finishing the look with some black and white face paint.
5. Stranger Things – Dress up as Jim Hopper
Jim Hopper also known as just Hopper is the Chief of Police in Hawkins Indiana where Stranger Things happen! This is your chance to become the all American 80’s Sherriff by wearing this costume just like Hoppers uniform. 6. Mime Costume and Outfit
This classic look is instantly recognisable but so much fun! You can mime the night away in this French Clown costume. The best thing about this costume is that it also comes with the make-up so it’s literally a one stop shop for a quick, easy but great costume. We also think this is a great couples costume. Team up with your better half in either the female or male mime.
7. Dress Up in a Killer Clown Costume
There are so many killer clowns to choose from, for example Pennywise from IT, Twisty from American Story and The Joker from well, The Joker!, there are more than enough to make a coulrophobic’s nightmares come true!
Scaring couldn’t be easier in a clown suit. The hardest part is picking which clown you’re going to be. We love this Ronald Mc Donald killer clown suit.
